T O P I C R E V I E WhofautographsThis will be my first show attendance with astronaut signers. Can anyone out there who has been to a similar show tell me what to expect re: prices. I would imagine that guys like Dave Scott and Buzz Aldrin will be pricey, but what about the cosmonauts and guys like Schirra and Carpenter. Also, will the anstronauts pose for photos with you if you purchase a signature? Thanks.SpacepsychoThe prices at the Burbank show were less than the standard fees they charged if you sent items into them.Buzz Aldrin $150 and had a long line all day.Dave Scott was $150, he wasn't as busy but it also gave him more time to chat.Gene Cernan was $75, also a long line all day long. Everyone else was between $30-40 per autograph. What was really nice was Gene Cernan didn't charge extra for multi-signed items of astro's who weren't in attendance. A couple of others charged more for large items or multi-signed items of astro's who weren't in attendance at the show. Depending on what you're going to have signed, the only person not signing hardware, flown or multi-signed items was General Stafford. Most of the gentlemen accepted checks, Scott, Aldrin, Cernan and McCandless accepted credit cards. Save your money, bring lots of items because if the NYC show is 1/2 as good as Burbank, you'll remember it for many years as a great event.Don't forget about getting an autograph from Dee O'Hara & Cece Bibbe, Jim Lewis, Gunther or the Skylab astros and Rick Searfoss will be there also. They all charged $20-30 and was well worth the price.Ray
